The monthly meeting of Enid Writers Club will be 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 5, 2023, at Northwestern Oklahoma State University-Enid. The meeting will be in room 124 at NWOSU-Enid, Randolph and 30th. The club is 101 years old this year, the oldest writing club in the state. This month's program will be presented by Johnetta Rhodes and Vickey Kennedy, representatives of Oklahoma Writers' Federation, the statewide writing club. The roll call topic is to write a piece no longer than 150 words on "The World From a Cat's Point of View.
