ENID, Okla. — Jake Krumwiede, director of Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center, announced Friday, Sept. 8, 2023, he has accepted the director's position for Oklahoma Museum of Popular Culture in Tulsa, also known as OKPOP, and will leave the Enid museum at the end of the month. 'Words cannot adequately articulate how much I have loved working in Enid these past four years,' Krumwiede said. 'I tried every day to make sure the Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center was better than it was the day before.
