ENID, Okla. — Enid's Walk to End Alzheimer's will be Friday, Sept. 22, 2023, the downtown Square. The party starts at 5:30 p.m. with booths on the courthouse lawn, and the ceremony and walk will begin at 6 p.m. As part of the event, participants will honor those affected by Alzheimer's with the poignant Promise Garden ceremony — a mission-focused experience that signifies solidarity in the fight against the disease. The colors of the Promise Garden flowers represent people's connection to Alzheimer's — their personal reasons to end the disease.
